How much does it cost?
Ortaia is free to download, and the Basic plan is free to use for as long as you like. If you want more, the Plus plan is €2.99/month, €19.99/year, or €39.99 once for lifetime access.
Does Ortaia work in my country?
Ortaia provides localised growing data for a wide range of European and North American climates, and we're constantly expanding coverage. If you're unsure, download the app — it will tell you straight away.
Do I need gardening experience?
Not at all. Ortaia is designed for complete beginners as well as experienced growers. The app guides you step by step and adapts to how much detail you want.
How does the location-based timing work?
Ortaia uses your location to determine your local frost dates and climate zone, then tailors every sowing, transplanting, and harvesting recommendation accordingly. No generic "temperate Europe" advice.
Can I use Ortaia for a balcony garden?
Absolutely. Whether you have a few pots, a single raised bed, or a full allotment, Ortaia adapts to your space and suggests crops that work in containers.
